Student Activities Committee

The Student Activities Committee works to enhance student life at Sterling by supporting and organizing events, activities, and entertainment for the campus community. All students are invited to participate in voting on how the Student Activities budget is spent. It supports such activities as:

  • Performers and entertainment (e.g. musicians, contra dances, storytellers, bands, and workshops)

  • Games and equipment (e.g. boardgames, sleds, magazines, puzzles, pool cues, and ping pong equipment)

  • Transportation costs for off-campus events (e.g. day trips to Montreal, Burlington, Montpelier, Jay Peak Water Park, etc.)

  • Shared costs for approved local events

  • Scholarships for students to attend conferences or events.
