Sterling Degree: Outdoor Education & Leadership
Current Hometown: Orrs Island, Maine
Current Work: Farm Camps Manager at Wolfe’s Neck Center
Growing up in Maine, Molly’s summers were spent on the coast attending camp, where her passion for the outdoors and experiential learning blossomed. Leadership development was an essential part of life at camp and inspired her to attend Sterling College. Since graduating, Molly has had several opportunities to work in settings connecting kids with the outdoors and managing summer camp programs. In March, 2020 she joined the team at Wolfe’s Neck Center in Freeport, Maine, as the Farm Camps Manager, where she oversees their summer programming. In this time of uncertainty, Molly finds herself working closely with local schools to create fall and spring offerings as a way to support child education in the natural environment. Her goal is to continue creating new opportunities at Wolfe’s Neck to further their mission of transforming our relationship with farming and food for a healthier planet.
Molly loves spending her time outside, exploring new places throughout Maine and New England. You can usually find her in the woods or on the water, camping, paddling, and enjoying all the great outdoors has to offer!
