Customize your Campus Experience
The Student Activities Committee coordinates events, activities, and entertainment for the community, and is entirely run and managed by the student body. Each enrolled student contributes a portion of their tuition to the Student Activities fee. Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean of Student Life, students submit proposals to initiate campus events, which are voted on democratically by the student body each week of the semester.
Student Activities funds can be used for almost anything! Students have hosted on-campus events such as lectures, concerts, contra dances, intramural sports, nature walks, and drumming workshops over the years. Students also plan off campus trips such as climbing, hiking, or visits to other towns and cities.
