Outdoor Program Administration is designed to apply students’ collective professional and educational experience to a leadership perspective. Students will take what they have learned to this point and step into a new role that interacts with the same topics, such as: risk assessment, program design, and staffing from a different vantage point. By taking on the lens of an administrator or non-field based employee, students will gain a deeper understanding of the “behind the scenes” of programming and business management. Topics will be focused around holistic risk management and program administration.
This course counts as one of the required two 400-level seminars
