Last evening Sterling student, Meryl Friets, took us aboard the Schooner Martha – vicariously, of course! – and transported us  along the U.S. and Mexican Pacific Coast.  Meryl has been working with Pavel Cenkl, a member of our Environmental Humanities Faculty, in an independent study related to her experience since starting as a Sterling student in September. Meryl will be enrolling in on-campus classes this coming summer and we’re looking forward to having her here.
