Academic OneFile

Academic OneFile, part of the Vermont Online Library, is the premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With over 8,000 journals, the majority in full-text, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly. Includes full-text coverage of the New York Times back to 1995. Updated daily. AGRICOLA: National Agricultural Library

Provides the most comprehensive database of bibliographic information available in agricultural research from 1979 to the present. AGRICOLA indexes over 1,400 international journals, as well as books, theses, patents, translations, computer software, audio-visual materials, and technical reports related to all aspects of agriculture.

Britannica Online

Includes an integrated search that pulls results from articles within the Encyclopedia Britannica, Britannica Student Encyclopedia, Britannica Elementary Encyclopedia, as well as the Internet Guide, 150 full-text periodicals, and a daily news archive offering current events coverage; as well as many other features.


Encyclopedia of Global Warming

This is the online searchable version.  The print version is available in the library’s Reference section.

 

ERIC: Educational Resources Information Center

The ERIC database is the world's largest source of education information, with more than 1 million abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice.

 

Gale PowerSearch

Google Scholar

Search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.

 

JSTOR

*Arts & Sciences I Collection includes the complete back runs of 119 scholarly journals in fifteen disciplines of the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
*Biological Sciences Collection will include over 130 scholarly journals when completed. This collection brings together the twenty-nine journals available in the Ecology & Botany Collection with more than 100 titles new to JSTOR. Coverage in this collection offers greater depth in fields such as biodiversity, conservation, paleontology, plant science, cell biology and zoology.
