Course Description

Conservation Biology requires students to apply concepts of ecology, biogeography, population genetics, economics, sociology, anthropology, and philosophy in developing conservation strategies. We also explore laboratory, and computer-based methods appropriate to the field of Conservation Biology; and, synthesize and present relevant information from the primary and secondary literature in the analysis of a specific conservation issue.
