Sterling College is located in the town of Craftsbury
Common in Orleans County, Vermont—also known as "The
Northeast Kingdom". Sterling College is 2 1/2 hours from
Montreal, 4 hours from Boston, and 6 hours from New York City
by car. There is airline service to Burlington International
Airport (1 1/2 hours from campus) and train and bus service
to Montpelier, Vermont (40 miles from campus).
By Air:
Regularly scheduled air service from many U.S. and Canadian cities arrives
into Burlington International Airport, where you can rent a car. You may
also arrange for us to pick you up.
By Rail:
Amtrak stops in Montpelier, Vermont, where you can rent a car. You may also
arrange for us to pick you up.
By Car:
From the North, South, and East:
- Take Interstate-91 to Exit 21 (Route 2)
- Take Route 2 West to West Danville, Vermont
- Turn right on Route 15 West to Hardwick,
Vermont
- Turn right on Route 14 North
- Travel 8 miles and turn right on the South
Craftsbury Road
- Travel approximately 3 miles to Sterling
College on your left
From the West and Burlington:
- Take Interstate-89 South or North to Exit
10 Stowe/Waterbury (Route 100)
- Take Route 100 North to Morrisville, Vermont
- Turn right on Route 15 East to Hardwick,
Vermont
- Turn left on Route 14 North
- Travel 8 miles and turn right on the South
Craftsbury Road
- Travel approximately 3 miles to Sterling
College on your left
