Over Twenty Years of Sterling Internships

Since the internship pilot program in 1981 when Ken LaBelle went to Tonto National Forest, and Barb Sutch went to Blue Hills Reservation, there have been 624 additional Sterling internship placements across the U.S. and abroad. Internships continue to be a highlight of the 2nd year curriculum. Currently, they occur during the summer or fall semester.
