Global Field Study in James Bay, Quebec

Travel to the James Bay region of Quebec, Canada, to study hydroelectric development and its impact on the local ecosystems and native peoples. This field-study program serves dual purposes: (1) to gain field experience in the ecology of the boreal and sub-arctic regions of the north; (2) to meet and interact with persons in the region, both native peoples and representatives of Hydro-Quebec. (Summer-3 credits)
