Residences
Student Residence Halls
There are four residences on campus, each housing approximately 20 students. The residences are set up in classic dormitory style, with shared bathrooms on each floor. The division of genders by residence is dependent on the student resident population and their needs.

Madison Residence faces Kane and Dunbar Hall and houses up to 25 students. Coin-operated washers and dryers and a root cellar are located in the basement of Madison.
Merlin Residence houses up to 25 students. Lounges are located on |
| both floors and a coin-operated washer/dryer is located on the first floor. Major renovation was completed in the fall of 2000. Merlin is also home to the Wellness Center where a physician's assistant/nurse is available during scheduled hours to consult on matters of general, physical, or mental health. |

Hamilton and Jefferson Residences are located on the “lower campus”. Surrounded by fields and adjacent to Cedar Swamp, these residences are a short walk from the main hub of campus. Each residence houses up to 16 students and a faculty apartment. 
President’s Residence
North House is the President of the College's residence. Connected to North House is the Sterling College maintenance shop and the Craftsbury Common U.S. Post Office.
