Dunbar Hall
Dunbar Hall is home to the dining hall, kitchen, Career Resource Center, computer lab, and lounge.“The Barn”, the main student lounge for the College, is located on the first floor of Dunbar Hall and is accessible 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Originally a carriage barn for the inn that occupied Kane Hall for decades, the Barn offers a rustic, cozy space for students to gather. It is heated with a clean-burning wood-pellet stove. A TV and VCR, a piano, board games, and puzzles are available for student entertainment. A weekly coffeehouse on Sunday evenings fills the Barn with song, skits, and other performance endeavors. During the semester students, faculty, and staff meet in the Barn for Community Meeting each week.
The Career Resource Center (CRC) is located on the second floor of Dunbar Hall and contains resources for students planning off-campus semesters as well as exploring post-graduate opportunities. The CRC staff maintains office hours, and students are encouraged to make appointments or drop in. Resources in the CRC and the adjoining computer lab are accessible 24 hours a day and seven days a week for student use.
