
Anne Morse

Anne Morse has been teaching and working in the field of outdoor
education for eighteen years. She has instructed and supervised
courses, developed programs, and trained staff for several Outward
Bound schools. For seven years, she taught in undergraduate Adventure
Education and Human Development programs. Anne is recognized as
a leading professional in her field. She has presented workshops
at annual conferences for the Association for Experiential Education
and Wilderness Risk Management on topics ranging from gender issues
in outdoor education to the value of risk taking. In addition to
being an Emergency Medical Technician, Anne holds a certification
in Swiftwater Rescue. Her strong interest in social justice issues
led her to pursue a certification in mediation and graduate work
in conflict resolution. Anne, her partner Kevin, and their children
Jacob and Emily enjoy backcountry explorations by canoe and foot,
gardening, and contra-dancing.
