The Career Resource Center

The Career Resource Center’s Mission: To support students and alumni as they make life-long career decisions and pursue meaningful work, while promoting environmentally and socially responsible careers.

CRC EVENTS
Every year the CRC plans a multitude of events. Below you will find information regarding upcoming events.

Career Chats
Opportunities for alumni to meet current students and discuss how Sterling College prepared them for the careers they currently hold. These chats occur in the CRC during meals throughout the school year.

Environmental Career Fair
Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Dunbar Dining Hall, organizations will be on hand to meet with students to discuss potential internship, research project, graduate school, and summer/full-time employment opportunities. This event is free and open to the public. If you know an organization that would like to join us, please have them contact the CRC.

Internship Presentations
Spring semester presentations will be announced during February of 2009.

Recruiter Visits
Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine
February 2009 (TBA):
A representative will be on-campus to discuss their veterinary program.

Senior Exit Interviews
Interviews occur during the spring semester each year, and each individual interview last 30-45 minutes long. This is an opportunity for seniors to discuss with the CRC staff their transitional needs.

Senior Send-Off Series
Workshop topics will be based on the needs and wants of seniors determined by the Senior Exit Interviews. The series is scheduled for late April and early May.

Workshops
Various workshops will occur throughout the school year.
