Global Field Studies

Sterling College field studies provide opportunities for students to immerse themselves in diverse cultures and landscapes while reflecting upon global applications of the College’s core curriculum. Students travel in groups supervised by faculty members skilled at structuring and supporting powerful learning experiences in foreign countries. Often, through exposure to different possibilities during these trips, students return with newfound visions of the world and potentials for change.

Take a look at some photos from the most recent Global Field Study.

Global field studies require additional lab fees to cover extra costs related to travel and teaching in remote sites. All programs are subject to change and are offered on a rotating basis by demand. Please contact Erik Hansen for more information about applying to a Global Field Study trip. Click here to download the Global Field Studies application.
